Serial #FV014 This type mill is typically used in ink, paints, dyes, chemical coatings, agricultural chemicals, minerals, etc. This mill, cometimes called a media mill, produces smooth, uniform finely ground deagglomerated pigment, thoroughly wetted to its primary partical size. The media (or sand) is retained in the screen system which allows the product to flow through and be discharged and collected. The fluid product to be dispersed is pumped upward through a water-jacketed grinding vessel at a controlled rate by an external pump. The fineness of grind depends on dwell time in vessel, media loading and the formulation of the premix.
